  • 0.8 cup sugar 
  • 0.8 cup butter softened
  •  eggs 
  • 1.3 cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.3 cup cocoa powder 
  • 0.8 teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • teaspoon salt 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350° F. Grease bottom and sides of 9x5 inch loaf pan with shortening; lightly flour.
  2. In large bowl, beat sugar, butter and eggs with electric mixer on low speed 1 minute, scraping bowl occasionally.
  3. Add remaining ingredients; beat 2 minutes on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally.
  4. Pour into pan.
  5. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
