  • 1.5 teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • tablespoon cinnamon sugar 
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.5 cup milk 1% low-fat
  • tablespoon milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.3 cup raisins 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup stick margarine chilled cut into small pieces
  • 0.3 cup sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 37
  2. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife.
  3. Combine flour and next 4 ingredients in a bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in raisins.
  4. Combine 1/2 cup milk and egg; add to flour mixture, stirring just until moist. (Dough will be sticky.)
  5. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; knead lightly 4 or 5 times with floured hands. Pat dough into a 7-inch circle on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
  6. Cut dough into 10 wedges, cutting to, but not through, bottom of dough.
  7. Brush with 1 tablespoon milk; sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  8. Bake at 375 for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden.
  9. Serve warm.
