Ingredients

  • cup brown sugar packed
  • sticks butter 
  • cups chocolate chips (milk Or Semi-sweet)
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.8 cups pecans finely chopped
  • teaspoons vanilla 
  •  eggs whole

Equipment

  • frying pan
  • baking sheet
  • oven
  • offset spatula

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add egg, vanilla, and flour and mix until combined.
  3. Spread on cookie sheet with an offset spatula until thin.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden.
  5. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle on chocolate chips. Return to oven for 1 minute.
  6. Remove from oven and spread chocolate thinly over the cookie layer.
  7. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  8. Cut into squares.
