  • 2.5 teaspoons double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  •  eggs 
  • 1.8 cups flour all-purpose
  • 24  flat bottomed ice cream cones 
  • 0.7 cup milk 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • cup sugar white

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Cream butter and sugar together well in mixing bowl. Beat in eggs 1 at a time.
  3. Mix in vanilla. Measure flour, baking powder and salt into small bowl. Stir.
  4. Add milk to butter mixture in 2 parts alternately with flour mixture in 3 parts, beginning and ending with flour.
  5. Fill cones about 3/4 full leaving the batter 1/2 inch from top.
  6. Place filled cones on a baking tray.
  7. Bake in oven for about 15 to 20 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
