  • 0.8 cup bread crumbs fresh
  • teaspoons brown sugar 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper red crushed
  •  eggs beaten
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground pepper black
  • 0.5 cup catsup 
  • 1.5 pounds ground beef lean
  • teaspoon mustard prepared
  • 0.3 cup onion diced
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 cup sacremento tomato juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, 1/2 cup ketchup, tomato juice, salt, pepper, red pepper, eggs, bread crumbs, onion and 2 teaspoons mustard until well mixed. Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with foil. Press meat mixture into pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup ketchup, 1 teaspoon mustard and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Spread brown sugar mixture over meatloaf.
  5. Bake in preheated oven 35 to 45 minutes, until no longer pink.
  6. Drain off fat.
  7. Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
