  • cups balsamic vinegar with a little honey
  • servings canola oil 
  • loaf bread french italian cut into 1/ slices
  • cup mascarpone cheese 
  • servings olive oil 
  •  plum tomatoes thick cut into slices
  • servings salt and pepper black
  • bunch spring onion cut in bite-size pieces

Directions

  2. Preheat the grill to high heat.
  3. Brush the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. Put on the grill and cook until lightly toasted.
  4. Brush the tomatoes with canola oil and grill until slightly charred.
  5. Remove and coarsely chop.
  6. Remove the bread from the grill and spread the slices with mascarpone. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  7. Put the bread back on the grill over indirect heat to warm the cheese.
