Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.3 cup bourbon 
  • 30 servings warm chocolate glaze 
  • large eggs 
  • 0.8 cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • ounce semisweet chocolate morsels 
  • 0.3 cup shortening 
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract 
  • cup walnuts chopped
  • tablespoons water

Directions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients, stirring well. Set aside.
  2. Combine sugar, shortening, and water in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; remove from heat.
  3. Add chocolate morsels and vanilla, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition.
  5. Add flour mixture and walnuts; stir well.
  6. Spoon into a greased 9" square pan.
  7. Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  8. Sprinkle bourbon evenly over warm brownies. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
  9. Spread White Frosting over uncut brownies.
  10. Pour warm Chocolate Glaze over frosting.
  11. Let stand until set.
  12. Cut into squares.
