  • 1.5 cups self raising flour 
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • 0.5 cup butter 
  • 0.5 cup milk 
  •  eggs beaten
  • cups plums fresh sliced
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • tablespoons butter melted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray. In large bowl, mix flour and 1/2 cup sugar.
  2. Cut in 1/2 cup butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions), until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add milk and egg; stir just until blended.
  4. Spread batter evenly in pan.
  5. Arrange sliced fruit in rows on batter. In small bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over fruit.
  6. Drizzle with melted butter.
  7. Bake 28 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
