There is something undeniably comforting about a pot full of Swedish meatballs that can easily feed a large gathering, making this recipe perfect for potlucks, family reunions, or any occasion where you need to serve a crowd without the stress of complex preparation. While traditional versions often require hours of browning and simmering, this easy variation cuts the time down to just forty minutes while delivering a delicious result that tastes like it took all day. The secret lies in the clever combination of lean ground beef with savory stuffing mix, which adds a delightful texture and depth of flavor that elevates the meatballs beyond the ordinary. By incorporating beaten eggs and finely chopped onions into the mixture, you ensure every bite is tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, without the need for excessive fat.

Once baked to a golden brown, the real magic happens when these meatballs are gently simmered in a creamy sauce made from Heinz HomeStyle Savory Beef Gravy and rich sour cream. This creates a luscious, velvety coating that clings to each small, one-inch sphere, offering a perfect balance of savory beef, tangy cream, and aromatic herbs. What makes this dish truly special is its impressive scalability; with a single batch, you can serve forty people, ensuring everyone gets a generous portion of this beloved comfort food. Whether enjoyed as a hearty starter, a light antipasto, or a satisfying snack, these meatballs bring warmth and joy to any table. Plus, with a moderate caloric count and a well-balanced macronutrient profile, you can indulge in this classic favorite guilt-free. So, gather your family and friends, and let the aroma of baking meatballs and simmering gravy fill your home with the promise of a wonderful meal.
