  • ounce blueberries dried
  • ounce cherries dried
  • 0.3 cup flaxseeds 
  • 0.5 cup honey 
  • cups regular oats 
  • cup orange juice 
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • cup quick-cooking barley uncooked
  • 0.5 cup soy nuts unsalted
  • 0.3 cup sunflower seed kernels unsalted
  • 0.5 cup walnuts coarsely chopped
  • cups puffed wheat cereal sweetened (such as Kellogg's Smacks)
  • cup wheat germ toasted

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 30
  2. Heat juice and next 3 ingredients (through honey) in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until dissolved; set aside.
  3. Combine oats and next 10 ingredients (through sunflower seed kernels) in a large bowl.
  4. Pour juice mixture over oat mixture; toss.
  5. Divide mixture in half; spread evenly over 2 baking sheets coated with cooking spray.
  6. Bake at 300 for 45 minutes or until dry and crispy, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely; stir in dried fruit. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
