Ingredients

  •  skinned and boned chicken breast halves cut into strips
  • cups lettuce shredded
  • large onion cut into strips
  •  pita bread rounds whole wheat
  • large bell pepper red cut into strips
  • 16 ounce refried beans canned
  • tablespoon fajita seasoning 
  • ounces cheddar shredded
  • ounce cup heavy whipping cream sour
  •  tomatoes diced
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

  • oven
  • aluminum foil

Directions

  1. Cut bread rounds in half; spread 1/4 cup beans in each half. Wrap in aluminum foil.
  2. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
  3. Toss chicken with fajita seasoning. Saut in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes.
  4. Add onion and bell pepper; saut 3 minutes or until chicken is done. Spoon into pitas. Top evenly with remaining ingredients.
