  • tablespoon butter 
  • 0.3 cup wine dry white
  • pound farfalle pasta uncooked (bow tie pasta)
  • tablespoons parsley fresh chopped
  • tablespoon garlic minced
  • 12 ounces mushrooms 
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • ounces parmesan fresh grated
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt divided
  • 0.3 cup shallots finely chopped
  • 0.7 cup whipping cream

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat; drain.
  2. Melt the butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the mushrooms, onion, shallots, garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, and pepper; cook 12 minutes or until liquid evaporates and mushrooms are tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add wine; cook 2 minutes or until liquid evaporates, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add the cooked pasta, whipping cream, cheese, and 2 tablespoons parsley, tossing gently to coat. Stir in remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  7. Garnish with minced fresh parsley, if desired.
