  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • cup mint chocolate morsels 
  • 0.5 cup cocoa 
  • large eggs 
  • cup flour 
  • 0.8 cup milk 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • cup sugar 
  • teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Beat butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy; add sugar, beating until fluffy.
  2. Add egg, beating well.
  3. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; add to butter mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Stir in morsels and vanilla.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured 8-inch square pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes. Invert onto wire rack; cool.
  6. Spread with Mint Chocolate Frosting.
