  • 14.5 oz tomatoes diced with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained canned
  • cup carrots sliced
  • cup celery stalks sliced
  • 0.3 cup basil fresh chopped
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • box beef pasta skillet meal 
  • tablespoons olive oil extra virgin extra-virgin
  • 0.3 cup onion chopped
  • 15 oz kidney beans dark red rinsed drained canned
  • cups water hot
  • medium to 3 sized squashes yellow cut in half lengthwise, then cut crosswise into 1/4-inch pieces

Directions

  1. In 5-quart Dutch oven or stockpot, heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add carrots, celery, onion and garlic; cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until vegetables are almost tender.
  3. Stir in zucchini, basil, uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), beans, tomatoes and hot water.
  4. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 10 minutes or until pasta and vegetables are tender.
