Ingredients

  • bottle prepare as 
  • 0.5 ounce juice of lemon fresh
  • ounce tangelo juice fresh
  •  tangelos 
  • 1.5 ounces vodka 
  • 750 milliliter vodka 

Equipment

  • sieve
  • peeler
  • drinking straws

Directions

  1. For the Vodka: Using a vegetable peeler, remove zest from tangelos. Juice fruit and reserve in refrigerator.
  2. Add the zest to the bottle of vodka and let it steep at room temperature for 24 hours.
  3. Pour the contents through a fine mesh strainer. Return to bottle.
  4. Combine the tangelo infused vodka, Strega, 1 ounce tangelo juice, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker.
  5. Add ice and shake hard for 15 seconds.
  6. Strain the mixture into an ice-filled collins glass. Top with ginger beer and serve with a straw.
