  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper black freshly ground
  • large egg white lightly beaten
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup chives fresh thinly sliced
  • tablespoons optional: dill fresh minced
  • cups green onions thinly sliced
  • tablespoons parmigiano-reggiano cheese fresh finely grated
  • 1.3 cups part-skim ricotta cheese 
  • 11 ounce pizza crust dough refrigerated canned
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 37
  2. Unroll dough, and press into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch round removable-bottom tart pan coated with cooking spray.
  3. Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray.
  4. Add thinly sliced green onions to pan; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Combine cooked green onions, ricotta cheese, sliced fresh chives, minced fresh dill, salt, freshly ground black pepper, eggs, and egg white.
  6. Pour onion mixture into prepared crust; sprinkle mixture with Parmigiano-Reggiano.
  7. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until center is set.
  8. Let stand 5 minutes.
  9. Cut into 6 wedges.
