  • 0.3 cup almonds sliced
  • 2.3 cups biscuit and baking mix 
  • 0.3 cup chocolate syrup 
  • tablespoons cocoa 
  • large eggs lightly beaten
  • 0.5 cup half-and-half 
  • 0.8 cup semisweet chocolate mini-morsels 
  • 0.5 cup sugar 
  • teaspoons vanilla extract 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine baking mix, sugar, and cocoa in a large bowl. Make a well in center of mixture.
  2. Combine half-and-half and next 4 ingredients; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in chocolate morsels and almonds. Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full.
  3. Bake at 400 for 11 to 12 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean.
  4. Remove from pans immediately.
