  • 14 ounces artichoke hearts rinsed drained canned
  • 0.5 pound portabello mushrooms quartered
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground pepper 
  • 1.5 cups chardonnay 
  • pounds chicken breast halves bone-in skinless
  • servings noodles hot cooked
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh minced
  • tablespoons thyme dried fresh minced
  •  garlic clove minced
  • medium onion chopped
  • teaspoons paprika 
  • teaspoon pepper 
  • medium bell pepper sweet red chopped
  • servings pecorino cheese shredded
  • teaspoon salt 
  • ounces canned tomatoes canned

Directions

  1. Combine the paprika, salt, pepper and cayenne; sprinkle over chicken.
  2. Place the chicken, mushrooms, red pepper, onion and artichokes in a 5-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the chardonnay, tomato paste, garlic and thyme; pour over vegetables.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender. Stir in parsley.
