  • teaspoons bottled garlic minced
  • 15.5 ounce canned tomatoes diced canned
  • servings salt and ground pepper black to taste
  • 0.3 cup penzey's southwest seasoning italian
  • tablespoons olive oil 
  •  chicken breast halves diced boneless skinless
  • 12 ounces pasta like spaghetti 
  • 0.5 cup tequila

Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly-salted water to a boil; add the pasta and cook until al dente, 8 to 10 minutes; drain.
  2. Place spaghetti in a large bowl.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook and stir the chicken in the hot oil until browned; stir in the Italian seasoning and garlic and cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes and tequila; simmer another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour into the bowl with the spaghetti and stir to combine; serve immediately.
