  • 14 ounce canned tomatoes diced canned (or Rotel)
  • tablespoon ground pepper 
  • 28 ounce kidney beans undrained (or kidney beans)
  • tablespoon chili powder 
  • servings cornbread 
  •  garlic clove chopped
  • lbs ground beef 
  • tablespoon ground cumin 
  • teaspoon hot sauce your favorite ()
  • tablespoon jalapeno chopped (FOR A MILDER CHILI)
  • tablespoon blackstrap molasses 
  •  onion chopped
  • tablespoon oregano dried
  • servings cheese shredded
  • tablespoon paprika smoked ( is best)
  • servings cream sour
  • ounces tomato paste 
  • servings tortilla chips

Directions

  2. Add beef, onions, and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beef is cooked through.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Reduce heat to low and cook uncovered for 2-3 hrs, stirring occasionally, until thickened to your liking.Alternatively, you can let simmer for 1 hr, then let cool, refrigerate overnight and finish cooking the next day.
