Ingredients

  • 0.3 cup barbecue sauce 
  • tablespoon butter 
  •  egg whites 
  •  garlic clove minced
  • 0.3 cup bell pepper green chopped
  • small onion chopped
  • 0.5 pound kielbasa fully cooked chopped johnsonville®
  • slices processed cheese food halved
  • 16 ounces regular crescent rolls refrigerated
  • servings sesame seed 
  • tablespoon water

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, cook sausage for 5-8 minutes; drain.
  2. Add the onion, green pepper and butter; cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Stir in barbecue sauce; heat through.
  4. Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into eight rectangles; seal perforations.
  5. Place a cheese slice on half of each rectangle; top with 2 tablespoons sausage mixture.
  6. Fold dough over filling and pinch edges to seal; fold seam under. Beat egg white and water; brush over dough.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Place bundles seam side down on greased baking sheets.
  9. Bake at 350° for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
