  • tablespoons canola oil 
  • cup chocolate chunks 
  • large eggs 
  • cup coarsely malt balls crushed
  • box velvet cake mix red
  • stick butter unsalted softened

  • baking paper
  • oven
  • mixing bowl
  • stand mixer

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line a large baking sheet with a silpat liner or parchment paper.
  2. Place butter, cake mix, egg and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl or stand mixer.
  3. Combine all ingredients until dough forms. Stir in chocolate chunks and malt balls. With a medium cookie scoop place dough onto prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until baked through.
  5. Let cool on baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring. They are great room temperature and REALLY good chilled
