Ingredients

  • teaspoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking soda 
  • 0.8 cup brown sugar packed
  • tablespoons butter melted
  •  eggs beaten
  • 1.5 cups flour all-purpose gold medal®
  • teaspoon maple extract 
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • oz cream sour
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 8-inch square pan with cooking spray. In small bowl, mix all streusel ingredients with fork until crumbly; set aside.
  2. In large bowl, mix all coffee cake ingredients with spoon just until flour is moistened.
  3. Spread half of the batter in pan.
  4. Sprinkle with half of the streusel. Drop remaining batter by spoonfuls over streusel; carefully spread over streusel.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining streusel.
  6. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
