  • 1.3 cups breadcrumbs dry
  • large egg whites lightly beaten
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh chopped
  • 0.3 cup spring onion minced
  • teaspoon hot sauce 
  • tablespoons juice of lemon 
  • tablespoon milk 2% reduced-fat
  • pound lump crab meat drained
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine first 10 ingredients in a bowl. Divide mixture into 8 equal portions; shape each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.
  2. Place breadcrumbs in a shallow dish; dredge patties in breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add 4 patties, and cook 3 minutes. Carefully turn patties over; cook 3 minutes or until golden. Repeat procedure with remaining oil and patties.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges, if desired.
