  • cup carrots shredded
  • tablespoon apple cider vinegar 
  • cup cucumber thinly sliced
  • tablespoons mayonnaise fat-free
  • 0.3 cup feta cheese crumbled
  • tablespoons pinenuts 
  •  wholewheat pita breads whole-wheat
  • 0.5 cup onion red thinly sliced
  • 0.5 pound pan drippings from roast beef preferably cut into thin strips
  • cups the of 1 cos lettuce shredded
  • tablespoons skim milk

Directions

  1. Place in a dry skillet over medium heat; stir occasionally until lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Cool. Toss nuts, beef, lettuce, carrots, cucumber, onion and feta in a bowl. Slice off 1/4 of each pita; stuff larger piece with filling.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise, milk and vinegar in another bowl.
  3. Drizzle dressing over pita filling.
  4. Serve with remaining 1/4 pita.
