Are you craving a delicious and unique twist on a classic pizza? Look no further! This mouth-watering Mexican Pizza is the perfect blend of traditional Mexican flavors and the beloved form of everyone's favorite - pizza! With a pre-baked Italian pizza crust as its base, this recipe takes a detour by smothering it with spicy fat-free refried beans instead of the usual tomato sauce. The addition of ranch dressing as a sauce adds a tangy surprise that perfectly complements the beans.

To enhance the taste and texture, sprinkle an enticing mix of shredded pepper jack or Monterey Jack cheese, followed by a layer of hearts of romaine lettuce. The green onions add a delightful crunch and freshness, while the salsa is divided strategically - one half mixed with the beans, and the other half used as a topping, ensuring every bite is packed with zesty flavor.

For an extra crunch, crumble tortilla chips over the top, and to bring it all together, a final sprinkle of cheese sends this Mexican-inspired pizza into a league of its own. This recipe serves 6 and is best enjoyed as a lunch or dinner main course. With a total calorie count of 1438 kcal, it's a satisfying and hearty meal that won't leave you feeling weighed down.
