Ingredients

  • 16 ounce biscuits refrigerated split canned
  • ounce tomato sauce canned
  • ounces colby-jack cheese blend shredded
  • 16 servings toppings: cream sour
  •  green onions chopped
  • medium onion diced
  • 0.5  bell pepper diced green red
  • 1.3 ounce taco seasoning 
  • cups turkey cooked chopped
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Saut onion and bell pepper in hot oil over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Stir in chopped turkey, tomato sauce, and taco seasoning mix.
  2. Remove mixture from heat; let cool.
  3. Roll each biscuit half into a 6-inch circle. Spoon about 2 tablespoons turkey mixture, 1 tablespoon cheese, and 2 teaspoons green onions on 1 side of each circle; fold in half, sealing edges with a fork.
  4. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until golden.
  6. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
  7. NOTE: For testing purposes only, we used Pillsbury Grands! Biscuits.
