  • strips bacon cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 12  chocolate wafers such as nabisco famous 
  • ounce cream cheese softened
  • large eggs 
  • tablespoon flour all-purpose
  • pinch salt 
  • 0.3 cup sugar 
  • tablespoons sugar 
  • tablespoons butter unsalted melted
  • teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Make the bacon: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 24-cup mini muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. Put the bacon pieces in a large skillet and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until almost completely browned, about 4 minutes.
  3. Pour off the drippings and reserve.
