If you’re craving a classic cocktail with a refreshing twist, this Mint Julep is about to become your new favorite. Built on a smooth bourbon base and brightened with sparkling water, it delivers that perfect balance of warmth and coolness in every sip. Crushed ice turns it into an icy, frosty treat, while a generous handful of mint leaves and a fragrant mint sprig bring an irresistible herbal aroma that feels like summer in a glass.
What makes this version especially appealing is how naturally it fits into modern lifestyles. It’s vegetarian, vegan, and dairy free, so you can serve it confidently to a wide range of guests without worrying about dietary restrictions. At just 109 calories per serving, it’s a lighter option that still feels indulgent, thanks to a delicate sweetness from superfine and confectioners’ sugar. The lemon twist on the rim adds a subtle citrus note that lifts the drink and makes it even more refreshing.
Ready in only 3 minutes, this Mint Julep is ideal when you want something impressive without spending all evening behind the bar. It works beautifully as an antipasti drink, a starter, a snack-time sipper, or a charming appetizer cocktail at gatherings. The ritual of muddling mint, packing the glass with ice, and finishing with a snowy dusting of sugar turns a simple drink into a small, delightful ceremony—one that both you and your guests will love repeating.
