Ingredients

  • cup button mushrooms sliced
  • ounces crimini mushrooms sliced
  • 0.5 teaspoon flour all-purpose
  •  garlic clove halved
  • ounces bread italian toasted ()
  • teaspoon olive oil 
  • 0.1 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.3 teaspoon salt 
  • teaspoons or dried fresh minced

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and salt; stir well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Increase heat to medium-high; add minced thyme, flour, and pepper, and cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  3. Rub cut sides of garlic over bread slices. Spoon 2 tablespoons mushroom mixture onto each bread slice.
  4. Garnish with thyme sprigs, if desired.
