  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • 0.8 cup commercial cream sour
  • tablespoon flour all-purpose
  • pound mushrooms fresh cleaned
  • servings parsley fresh chopped
  • 0.3 cup milk 
  • 0.5 cup onion chopped
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • servings toast points 
  • 0.5 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Directions

  1. Remove mushroom stems; chop stems. Saut mushroom caps, chopped stems, and onion in butter in a large skillet until vegetables are tender. Stir in salt and pepper. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Combine flour and milk, stirring well. Stir milk mixture into mushroom mixture; cook over medium heat until bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat; add sour cream and Worcestershire sauce, stirring well. Cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.
  4. Serve hot over toast points and garnish with parsley.
