  • tablespoon double-acting baking powder 
  • 0.5 cup butter divided
  • teaspoons cinnamon 
  •  eggs beaten
  • cups flour all-purpose
  • 0.8 cup milk 
  • 0.5 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.8 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 
  • 1.5 cup sugar divided

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon butter, 1/2 cup sugar, egg and milk. Fold in chocolate chips and pecans. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove immediately from pan. Melt the remaining butter; roll muffins in butter.
  4. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon; roll muffins in mixture.
