  • 0.3 cup mayonnaise light
  • 1.5 cups panko bread crumbs (Japanese breadcrumbs)
  • tablespoon onion red finely chopped
  • tablespoons water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 37
  2. To prepare fish sticks, place flour in a shallow dish or bowl.
  3. Place breadcrumbs in a second shallow dish or bowl.
  4. Combine 3 tablespoons water and egg in a third shallow dish or bowl, stirring with a whisk.
  5. Cut fish into 20 (4 x 1/2-inch) strips. Dredge fish in flour, shaking off excess. Dip fish in egg mixture, and dredge in breadcrumbs.
  6. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Coat fish with cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes or until crisp.
  8. Sprinkle fish sticks with salt.
  9. To prepare tartar sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
  10. Serve tartar sauce with fish.
