  • 0.3 cup brandy 
  • serving champagne 
  •  cinnamon sticks 
  •  cranberry fresh for garnish
  • quart cranberry juice cocktail 
  • slices ginger fresh
  • piece star anise

Directions

  1. For cranberry syrup
  2. In a medium saucepan, boil the cranberry juice cocktail, the ginger, the cinnamon stick, and the star anise for half an hour or until reduced to 1 cup.
  3. Let cool.
  4. For cocktail
  5. Fill a Champagne flute half-full with Champagne and add the brandy.
  6. Add 1 ounce Brandy-Cranberry Syrup and mix.
  7. Garnish with fresh cranberry.
  8. The syrup recipe makes enough for 10 drinks.
