  • tablespoon bourbon 
  • tablespoons cider vinegar 
  • 0.3 cup dijon mustard 
  • cloves garlic minced
  • 0.8 cup peach jam 
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt 
  • tablespoons onion minced
  • tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 0.5 cup whole-grain mustard

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook until translucent, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the vinegar and boil until almost completely reduced and the mixture looks like wet sand, about 4 minutes.
  4. Whisk in both mustards and the jam or preserves. Simmer, whisking, until jam melts, about 1 minute.
  5. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the bourbon and salt.
