Ingredients

  • tsp baking soda 
  • 0.3 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • 0.7 cup creamy peanut butter 
  •  eggs 
  • 1.5 cups flour 
  • 0.7 cup granulated sugar divided
  • Tbsp milk 
  • 48  foil-wrapped milk chocolate pieces 
  • 0.3 cup planters cocktail peanuts finely chopped
  • 0.5 tsp salt 
  • tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Beat butter, peanut butter, 1/3 cup granulated sugar and brown sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg, milk and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Combine flour, nuts, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating after each addition until well blended.
  5. Shape dough into 48 balls, each about 1 inch in diameter; roll in remaining granulated sugar.
  6. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets.
  7. Bake 9 to 10 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately press a chocolate piece into center of each cookie. (Cookie will crack slightly around edge.) Cool on baking sheets 1 min.
  8. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
