Ingredients

  • oz cream cheese softened
  •  eggs 
  • teaspoon orange zest grated
  • large plums pitted sliced
  • 0.8 cup powdered sugar 
  • tablespoons currant jelly red melted
  • box pie crust dough refrigerated softened pillsbury®

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450°F.
  2. Place pie crust in 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom or 9-inch glass pie plate. Trim edges if necessary. Generously prick crust with fork.
  3. Bake about 7 minutes or until very lightly brown. Cool on cooling rack 5 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
  4. Meanwhile, in small bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with electric mixer on low speed until smooth.
  5. Add orange peel and eggs; beat until smooth and well blended.
  6. Spread in partially baked crust. Arrange sliced plums over cream cheese filling.
  7. Bake at 325°F 25 to 30 minutes or until filling is set. Cool on cooling rack 15 minutes. Refrigerate at least 1 hour until chilled.
  8. Just before serving, brush melted jelly over tart. Cover and refrigerate any remaining tart.
