Ingredients

  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper black
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil 
  • 16 ounce center-cut loin pork chops boneless 1/
  • 4 servings try build-a-meal 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 15 ounce apricot halves in extra-light syrup canned

Directions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients, and sprinkle over both sides of pork chops.
  2. Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add pork, and cook 3 minutes on each side or until done.
  4. Remove pork from pan; set aside, and keep warm.
  5. Drain apricots, reserving syrup.
  6. Add 6 tablespoons syrup to pan; cook over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or until mixture is reduced by half, scraping pan to loosen browned bits. Reduce heat to medium.
  7. Add remaining 1/2 cup syrup and apricots; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
  8. Serve sauce over pork.
