  • cup goat cheese fresh crumbled soft (such as Montrachet; 5 ounces)
  • 0.1 teaspoon nutmeg 
  • 0.8 teaspoon pepper black
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt 
  • cup whipping cream 
  • cup milk whole
  • pounds yukon gold potatoes peeled thinly sliced
