  • 0.7 cup brown sugar 
  • tablespoons butter softened
  • cup pumpkin puree canned
  •  eggs 
  • tablespoon flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
  • 0.3 teaspoon ground cloves 
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger 
  • 0.3 teaspoon mace 
  • cup cup heavy whipping cream light
  • 0.3 cup ground pecans 
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 9-inch unbaked pie crust ()

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C.) In a small bowl, combine pecans, 1/3 cup brown sugar and butter. Press firmly into bottom of unbaked pie shell.
  2. Bake in oven 10 minutes.
  3. Remove crust from oven and reduce temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C.)
  4. In a large bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin, 2/3 cup brown sugar, flour, cloves, mace, cinnamon, salt and ginger. Blend in cream until mixture is smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour into partially baked shell.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until filling is set.
