  • box cake mix yellow
  • cup water 
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil 
  • teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 
  •  eggs 
  • 15 oz pumpkin pie filling/mix canned (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 0.8 cup pecans toasted chopped
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.5 cup flour all-purpose
  • 0.5 cup butter softened
  • serving crème fraîche 
  • serving ground cinnamon 
  • serving candied ginger chopped

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, beat cake ingredients with electric mixer on medium speed 2 minutes.
  2. Pour batter into pan.
  3. In medium bowl, mix topping ingredients with fork.
  4. Sprinkle over batter.
  5. Bake 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Cool completely in pan on cooling rack.
  6. Garnish with whipped cream, cinnamon, and crystallized ginger.
