  • 0.3 cup brown sugar dark packed
  •  eggs 
  • oz philadelphia neufchatel cheese softened
  • 0.3 cup oil 
  • pkg spice cake mix (2-layer size)
  • 0.8 cup planters walnuts chopped
  • cup water 
  • cup cool whip lite whipped topping thawed

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Beat first 5 ingredients in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Stir in nuts.
  3. Pour into 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Bake 30 to 32 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely.
  5. Beat Neufchatel and sugar in small bowl with mixer until well blended.
  6. Add COOL WHIP; mix well.
  7. Spread over cake.
