Raspberry Basil Limoncello Cocktail

Ingredients

• 12  basil leaves fresh for garnish
• 6 servings ice cubes crushed
• 1  optional: lemon for garnish cut into sixths, plus wheels
• 2 ounces limoncello 
• 1 pint raspberries fresh plus more for garnish
• 0.3 cup simple syrup glaze chilled more if you prefer the cocktail a little sweeter
• 6 servings sparkling rosé wine chilled
• 4 ounces citron vodka

Directions

2. Combine the raspberries, basil, lemons and simple syrup in a small pitcher and muddle until the raspberries are mashed.
3. Add the Limoncello and vodka.
4. Let chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Put crushed ice into rocks glasses and add some of the raspberry mixture. Fill to the top with sparkling wine.
6. Garnish with lemon and raspberries and basil sprigs if desired.
