Ingredients

  • lb crusty baguette french cut into 30 (1/4-inch) slices
  • 0.5 cup approx cream cheese spread (from 8-oz container)
  • 0.5 cup spring onion sliced
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper 
  •  plum tomatoes thinly sliced (Roma)
  • 0.5 lb pan drippings from roast beef preferably cooked thinly sliced (from deli)
  • tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Brush both sides of bread slices with oil.
  3. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. Bake about 5 minutes or until crisp. Cool 5 minutes.
  5. Spread cream cheese over each bread slice. Top with beef; sprinkle with pepper. Top each with tomato slice and onions.
