  • 0.3 cup apple juice 
  • ounce day-old bread french cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 0.3 teaspoon mustard dry
  • large egg white 
  • large eggs 
  • ounces turkey sausage italian
  • 1.3 cups milk 1% low-fat
  • 0.1 teaspoon salt 
  • ounces sharp cheddar cheese shredded divided
  • cups onion yellow chopped

Directions

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well with a whisk.
  2. Add bread; toss gently to coat.
  3. Let bread mixture stand 20 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 35
  5. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Coat pan with cooking spray.
  6. Add onion to pan; cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Add juice; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Remove casings from sausage. Crumble sausage into pan; cook 5 minutes or until browned, stirring frequently.
  9. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes.
  10. Add sausage mixture and cheese to bread mixture; stir well to combine. Spoon into an 8-inch square baking dish coated with cooking spray.
  11. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
  12. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
