Ingredients

  • medium size pasilla peppers green seeded sliced
  • teaspoon butter reduced-calorie
  • large onion sliced
  • teaspoon greek seasoning salt-free
  • 14 ounce turkey sausage smoked fat-free sliced
  •  hot dog buns whole wheat

Equipment

  • paper towels

Directions

  1. Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray; place over medium-high heat until hot.
  2. Add sausage, and cook 5 minutes or until browned, stirring often.
  3. Remove from skillet, and set aside.
  4. Wipe skillet dry with a paper towel.
  5. Coat skillet with cooking spray; add margarine.
  6. Place over medium-high heat until margarine melts.
  7. Add green pepper and onion; saute 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Return sausage to skillet; sprinkle Greek seasoning over sausage. Cook 1 minute or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally. Spoon sausage mixture evenly into buns.
  8. Serve warm.
