Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup beer dark such as Guinness
  • 2  garlic cloves minced
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil 
  • 1 large onion vertically sliced
  • 1  bell pepper red cut into strips
  • 14 ounce turkey kielbasa cut into 4 pieces
  • 1  bell pepper yellow cut into strips

Directions

  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add kielbasa, and cook 2 minutes on each side or until browned.
  3. Remove from pan, and keep warm.
  4. Add oil to pan.
  5. Add bell peppers, garlic, and onion; saut 7 minutes or until lightly browned.
  6. Place sausage on top of vegetable mixture, and add beer. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Increase heat to medium-high, and cook, uncovered, 3 minutes or until liquid evaporates.
