Ingredients

  • cups breadcrumbs fresh divided soft
  • large eggs 
  •  garlic cloves chopped
  •  green onions chopped
  • tablespoon juice of lemon fresh
  • servings lime sauce 
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise 
  • 0.5  bell pepper red coarsely chopped
  • teaspoons louisiana seasoning 
  • pound shrimp deveined cooked peeled
  • servings vegetable oil 

Equipment

  • food processor
  • frying pan

Directions

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Add mayonnaise and next 3 ingredients; pulse until blended.
  3. Add shrimp; pulse until coarsely chopped. Stir in 2 cups breadcrumbs.
  4. Shape soft mixture into 12 patties. Coat patties with remaining breadcrumbs.
  5. Place a large, lightly oiled nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties, in batches, 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until lightly browned.
  6. Serve with Lime Sauce.
