Ingredients

  • tablespoons olive oil 
  • lb chicken breast boneless skinless cut into 1-inch pieces
  • tablespoons seasoning italian
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt 
  • 0.3 teaspoon pepper freshly ground
  • tablespoons butter 
  • small onion thinly sliced
  • cloves garlic finely chopped
  • cup cream sour
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth 
  • tablespoons cornstarch 
  • tablespoons spring onion sliced
  • serving rice hot cooked

Directions

  1. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Sprinkle chicken pieces with Italian seasoning, salt and pepper; add to skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden.
  3. Add butter, onion and garlic. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onion is tender.
  4. In small bowl, mix sour cream, broth and cornstarch until smooth.
  5. Pour over chicken mixture. Reduce heat to low. Cook about 5 minutes longer, stirring occasionally, until chicken is no longer pink in center and sauce is thickened. Stir in half of the green onions.
  6. Serve chicken and sauce over rice.
  7. Sprinkle with remaining green onions.
