  • 0.3 cup butter 
  • rib celery chopped
  •  bacon crumbled cooked
  •  garlic cloves minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground pepper black
  • ounce marinated artichoke hearts drained chopped
  •  onion finely chopped
  • 0.3 cup parsley fresh italian chopped
  • teaspoon salt 
  • ounce shucked oysters drained coarsely chopped ( 2 dozen oysters)
  • cups sourdough bread cubed ( 8 slices)
  • 0.5 cup whipping cream

Directions

  1. Arrange bread cubes on 2 baking sheets.
  2. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until dry and golden.
  3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add onion, celery, and garlic. Saut 6 to 8 minutes or until tender.
  4. Add salt and next 3 ingredients; cook 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Combine bread cubes, oyster mixture, bacon, parsley, and artichoke hearts in a large bowl, tossing well. Spoon dressing into a greased 11" x 7" baking dish.
  7. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 45 minutes.
